　ブレーキのない競技用自転車「ピストバイク」で公道を走り、歩行者に衝突して重傷を負わせたとして、熊本地検山鹿支部は１１日、熊本県山鹿市の男（２０）を道交法違反（制動装置不良）と重過失傷害罪で熊本地裁山鹿支部に起訴した。地検によると、ピストバイクによる事故を巡る運転者の罪が正式裁判に問われるのは全国的にも異例。


　起訴状によると、男は昨年７月１０日午後８時４５分頃、同市鹿校通の国道３２５号でピストバイクを運転。無灯火のうえ、赤信号を無視して交差点に進入し、横断歩道を歩いていた女性（７２）に衝突、頭蓋骨骨折など約６か月の重傷を負わせたとされる。

　地検は起訴の理由について、「信号を無視したという点を重視した」と説明している。

    一応目撃があって赤で突入したんだよね？歩行者が間違って赤ではないんだよね？ ただ、スポーツ仕様の自転車が公道を走るって意味がサーキットを走るような車でスピードを出して公道を暴走してるだけかも知れない。 自転車を車道に追いやるより先に。
